Knoxville Tennessee has some of the finest parks that surround the city's beautiful greenways.
Inside these parks many outdoor opportunities can be found to entertain the whole family.

Disc golf has become a very popular sport that has been sweeping the nation for about twelve
years now. Knoxville got on board with this popular sport eleven years ago with its first disc golf
park cut in Admiral Farragut Park in west Knoxville.

This beautiful course is located just off Northshore Drive and is right on the edge of Lake Loudon.
With tons of rolling hills and dense forests this course offers a variety of challenges for all skill level.
With it only being a nine-hole course it's always fun to go another round.

If you're looking for a little bit longer of a course and a bit more variety head on over to Morning
Sides Park in the downtown area just off Hazen Street and only minutes away from the Old City
and the historic University of Tennessee campus. Morning Sides Park is a longer course with
sixteen holes on a mixture of open and wooded terrain. A super fun course for all levels of
disc-golf payers.

The most recent family member added to the disc-golf community is that of Victor Ashe Park
named after Knoxville Mayor Ashe. This beautiful designed course is just a few miles off Merchants
Drive and on Pleasant Ridge Road. This eighteen hole course is Knoxville's most challenging.
With tons of open holes as well as wooded courses even the most experienced golfers can appreciate it.

Whether you're a new golfer or a seasoned veteran Knoxville's disc-golf parks will keep you
wanting more for years to come.
